We thank Allah Who has afforded us an opportunity to publish Islamic literature in Arabic, Urdu and English and thereby serve His religion. About sixty six years ago, my grand-father, Maulana Mufti Muhammad Shafi(RA) had established the Darul-Isha'at at Deoband, India.When we came here, he was occupied with Allamah Shabbir Ahmad Usmani in the drafting of the constitution of Pakistan and in other important religious tasks.My father Muhammad Razi Usmani(RA) establish it in Pakistan under the supervision of the honourable Mufti Muhammad Shafi(RA). The opening ceremony of Darul-Isha'at was performed by Sayyid Sulayman Nadvi(RA). Al-Hamdulillah, Darul-Isha'at holds a reliable standing today as publishers of Islamic literature in English and Urdu and it discharges the duty of propagating Islam worldwide.Since then, we have been publishing Holy Quran and only authentic books on Islamic sciences and the number of books published by us so far is over 450 in Urdu and more than 375 in English books.I, Khalil Ashraf Usmani is working as proprietor.
